Selling starts with the very first word. You must grab attention straight away or you'll lose your prospect very quickly. The headline is always the most important part of your ad and must have immediate impact. Now firstly, its vital to remember that your prospect is only interested in whether you can solve their problems and give them what they desire.
Most marketers seem not to do this and focus more on their company and product features. This just doesn't work. Your prospect simply doesn't care about those things much at all. They want to know what's in it for them. Therefore you must answer that question right off the bat. Winning ads must open strongly and offer enough of a reason for the prospect to keep reading and then ACT NOW! Keep them excited and interested and you'll be on a winner for sure...
